Hi Will, thanks for the questions…and the positive feedback.

I need to play with the Hypothesis Aggregator from Kris. I agree that all three of my options are fairly manual, and that can be a positive, or negative. I see the need for a three general uses. First, a good way to embed individual Hypothesis annotations in WordPress. Jon Udell is trying to help me with this (see https://gist.github.com/judell/bdfc81fce7a478383ef8256a935b6ae2). Second, I’d like a way to pull all of the annotations from one source, embed in WordPress, and edit/modify/revise/add context. Third, pull a strong of annotations using a tag/category/group and embed these in WordPress to add context.

On a related note, Jon shared a spot on GitHub where we can possibly make webmentions work…and allow Hypothesis to be more IndieWeb friendly…but I don’t have the headspace/background to deal with this yet.

Thanks again. I’ll keep playing with the Aggregator. Take a look at the shortcode for embeds and see if you can make it work.
