As part of the AI in the Classroom webinar series, from the Media Education Lab, I presented a session on the Future of Education in the Age of AI: Trends, Issues, and Solutions.

In this workshop, we will discuss how AI is changing education. It helps teachers personalize learning, automate assessments, and improve collaboration. However, AI also brings challenges and risks, such as ethical, legal, and social concerns. This workshop focuses on current and future trends, issues, and solutions of AI in education. We will emphasize involving educators and learners in the design, development, and evaluation process with human-in-the-loop (HITL) approaches. Participants will explore the latest research and best practices for using AI to enhance teaching and learning. They will also have the opportunity to connect with other researchers and practitioners interested in AI and education.
